World Malaria Day 25 April 2022

World Malaria Day, is supported by the World Health Organisation. World Malaria Day 2022 will be marked under the theme “Harness innovation to reduce the malaria disease burden and save lives.”

No single tool that is available today will solve the problem of malaria. WHO is calling for investments and innovation that bring new vector control approaches, diagnostics, antimalarial medicines and other tools to speed the pace of progress against malaria.

In an effort to assist community pharmacists in getting this critical message across to the public they serve, we have sorted through the information made available by the WHO and compiled a separate folder with relevant social media posts, key messages etc., and we would like to encourage everyone to make use of these tools to post on social media, print hardcopies, if possible, and display in your place of work and use all other means at your disposal to get the conversation going.
